1. SCHOOL BOARD MEMBERS: Jim Parker(Chair), Mary Butin, Luanne Fendig, Jeff Jones, Jeff Martin, Dan Redanz, and John Ruggles.
2. PARENT ADVISORY COMMITTEE: The PAC is lead by co-Chairs Wendy Chapman and Shirley Redanz. The PAC meets on the first Wednesday of each month at 8:30AM.
3. STUDENT FILE DOCUMENTS: Tonight each family will receive a student file document packet in the classrooms. Please carefully review the documents in this packet and complete and return the forms to the school office by Friday, August 15.
4. PARENT-STUDENT HANDBOOK: The School Information Guide has a new name — Parent-Student Handbook, and each family should now have a copy of this year's handbook. We plan to also post it on the school website. The handbook contains the essential information you need to know about everyday life at The Whitefield School. The school administration assumes that every parent with children in the school has read and agrees with the contents of the handbook.
5. BACK-TO-SCHOOL PARTY: The PAC is sponsoring a back to school party at school from 12:30-3:00PM. Please plan to join the fun, complete your sign up form, and return it to the office by Tuesday, August 12.
6. THE WHITEFIELD CLASSIC GOLF SCRAMBLE: We will be having our inaugural golf fundraiser at the Hampton Golf Club on Saturday, September 20th. The event begins at 8:30AM with a shotgun start. Please sign up to participate, recruit your golfing friends to participate, find sponsors for the event. Remember, for each $100 in sponsorship you raise you will get an additional opportunity to earn a night out on TWS.

9. ONLINE GRADEBOOK: For students in grades 4-7, we will be using an online grading program called TeacherEase. We will make this available to parents and students around the end of the first quarter. This program enables parents and students to track grades online.
